A highly regarded plaintiff-side employment law firm in the South Bay is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its growing team. Practice Focus

  • ~90% Wage & Hour Class Actions / PAGA
  • ~10% Individual Employment Matters (e.g., wrongful termination, FEHA claims)
  • Additional exposure to consumer class actions

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Participate in class action and PAGA litigation strategy
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Assist with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Collaborate closely with partners and litigation teams
  • Engage in client communication and case development

Qualifications

  • 1-7 years of litigation experience (employment law strongly preferred)
  • Experience with wage & hour or PAGA matters is highly desirable
  • Open to candidates from plaintiff or defense backgrounds
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and a strong desire to learn ("hungry" mindset)
  • Active admission to the California State Bar
